This training is taught in English.
Stay Tuned International as a DPO or as a privacy professional takes it to the next level and starts where your current Stay Tuned subscription ends. Where the standard Stay Tuned sessions primarily focus on Belgian decisions in the light of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) as well as on some important European cases, the Stay Tuned International turns it around and especially focuses on foreign data protection issues and decisions within the European boarders.
But this is not all: if your organization cooperates with, or has subsidiaries in countries outside the EEA, like e.g., the US, China, India etc., then the Stay Tuned International subscription is tailormade for you, as it will discuss the situation and evolution of data protection regulations outside our European boarders. Where do these countries stand as far as data protection is concerned? What safety measures do we have to take if we want to exchange data with them? How do they look at our European data protection laws? For DPOs working in a multinational environment these are important issues to cope with.
The Stay Tuned International sessions are taught in English and will take place on a location in the Brussels area.

Didactic approach of this training
This training takes place in a training room in a hotel in the Brussels region. The session is taught in English.
Each training day is taught by several speakers who each look at the data protection decisions in- and outside the EEA from their perspective. Each speaker is a top expert in his or her field.
Prior, during and after the Stay Tuned training day you will have ample opportunity to interact with the speakers and other participants.
Each student receives a printed version of the training material with space for making notes. In addition, all presentations, supporting documentation and recordings are made available on our digital learning platform. Subscribing to the annual Stay Tuned program will on top grant you access to all previous presentations, documentation, session recordings and newscasts.
As one participant recently said it: “The analyzes of the decisions as presented are a mine of information and the possibility of exchanging with other DPOs on their practices is a strong point of this course.”
This course does not include an exam. The student receives a certificate of attendance when requested.
