Onze docenten voor de opleiding: Stay Tuned as DPO – International
Stay Tuned as an International DPO or Privacy Professional.
This training offers the ideal opportunity to keep yourself up to date in the fast-moving world of global data protection. Twice a year, we organize an intensive, full-day update session live in Brussels and via interactive Live Stream, specifically tailored for DPO’s and privacy experts operating in an international context.
Each training day is co-taught by two top-tier experts who analyze recent developments from both legal and practical operational perspectives. Instead of focusing heavily on local Belgian (GBA) rulings, this international edition shifts the spotlight toward cross-border enforcement, key decisions by European Data Protection Authorities (DPAs), and the overarching guidelines of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).
During these sessions, we bridge theory and practice. You will gain a deep understanding of the legal evolution of the GDPR, upcoming pan-European regulatory priorities, and the technical and organizational impacts of recent rulings (such as international data transfers, cloud architecture, and emerging tech).

Why take this course?
International Scope
You need a broader view than just local enforcement; you want to understand how European-wide DPA decisions impact your cross-border operations.
Time Efficiency
You don’t have the time to track every single European regulatory updates, EDPB guideline, or major fine yourself.
Network & Location
You want to join a network of international peers, either physically in the heart of Europe (Brussels) or via a seamless livestream.
Target group
This course is aimed at international DPOs, corporate privacy counsel, legal advisors, and privacy managers. Participants must have at least a basic knowledge of the core principles of the GDPR (e.g., through a DPO Certification training or equivalent experience).
Learning goals
Stay fully informed about the latest European data protection trends, guidelines, and upcoming legislative initiatives.
Gain a comprehensive overview of milestone decisions and fines issued by European DPAs (e.g., CNIL, DSB, Garante, BfDI) and the CJEU.
Understand the international impact of EDPB guidelines and binding decisions.
Keep your technical and organizational knowledge up to date on complex international topics (e.g., Schrems-compliant transfers, global cloud applications, AI governance).
Didactic approach
This high-level training takes place twice a year in Brussels, allowing for valuable face-to-face networking with international peers.
For those unable to travel, the sessions are broadcasted live via a high-quality, interactive Live Stream. Every participant receives access to our digital learning platform, containing all presentations, extensive supporting documentation, and the session recordings for future reference.
End product
This course does not include an exam. Participants receive a certificate of attendance after each completed update session.
