The end of the year is the ideal moment for many DPOs to start working on their annual report. For organisations within the Flemish Government, such a report is even mandatory, but outside that context it is equally recognised as a clear best practice. An annual report makes tangible what has been achieved over the past year and helps define priorities for the year ahead. It is also an excellent tool to raise awareness at management level and a strong way to demonstrate accountability.
