This training is taught in English
Measuring and seeking compliance with GDPR is the responsibility of the DPO, but also of the internal auditor, risk manager and compliance officer/controller in many companies. This training aims to provide them with handholds and support to successfully conduct their monitoring activities within the context of the GDPR rules.
Based on a GDPR framework, drawn up by the GDPR working group of IFACI (Institut Français de l’audit et du contrôle internes), we first explain the main GDPR provisions. A minimum knowledge of the regulations is essential to successfully conduct GDPR audits in an organisation. This framework also forms the basis of the audit activities themselves.
The rest of the training is based on a concrete case, including all the information you need to conduct the audit. This allows you to learn to use the audit framework in a practical sense. We also use a tool to support the audit activity where you identify and analyse risks, then identify measures and check them.
Finally, we address the implications of processing personal data on the audit process itself. Auditors also have to take the regulations into account as well as GDPR rules when processing personal data themselves. We teach participants what to look for in practical terms and how to comply with all obligations.
